Amethyst Basil Seeds
Amethyst Basil is the only purple variety of Genovese-type basil. It's large, thick, almost-black leaves make a stunning addition to the garden.
This intriguing, full flavored, deliciously aromatic basil can be used in any sweet basil recipe (but remember, it'll turn your dish a darker color!)
Amethyst Basil is also lovely in flower arrangements and as a garnish.
As with all basils, you can also use this basil in the garden as a natural insecticide to repel aphids, mites, and tomato horn worms.
