Anaheim Chili Pepper Seeds
A very popular, mild pepper, the Anaheim Chili Peppers is also known as the California Green Chili, the Long Green Chili or Magdalena.
Anaheim peppers are available year round but the summer harvest is known to have the best flavor.
These Peppers are very popular in Mexican cuisine. They are diced and pureed for sauces, soups and casseroles. These large Peppers are also the most commonly used peppers for chile rellenos.
Anaheim Chili Peppers are said to have been named for a farmer, Emilio Ortega, who brought them to Anaheim, California in the early 1900s.

Recipe for Spicy Pesto:

- Process all ingredients except parmesan in blender.
- Add parmesan and pulse to incorporate.
- Add additional oil in small amounts until desired consistency is reached.
- Store in refrigerator.
NOTE: Traditional basil pesto includes toasted pine nuts. These may be added, if desired.
