Ashwaganda, also known as
Indian Ginseng and Withania is native Southern Asia, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Ashwaganda gets its name from a Hindi word meaning "horse's smell". The Hindi word reflects the the smell of a horse exuded by the plant along with the uses of the plant as a source of "strength".
