Astilbe Drum and Bass Bulbs
The Drum and Bass Astilbe is a great choice for color and texture in the shade garden or woodland garden. Pink, fluffy spikes on ferny foliage, make for great cut flowers or dried arrangements. The last longer if they are planted to avoid the afternoon sun and not allowed to dry out.
Native to Asia and North America, the Astilbe plumes bloom in June-July.
Astilbe is most stunning when planted in groups. They look great in a flower bed, as border edging, or in containers.
