Black Pearl Pepper Seeds

Black Pearl Peppers are growing in popularity because of their unique deep purple/black leaves and scores of shiny round black-purple "pearls" of fruit. The black pearls mature to a bright red pepper that is known to be one of the hottest pepper available.

Black Pearl performs well as either a bedding or pot plant. The striking colors of this plant offer a vibrant accent to home gardens throughout the summer and fall seasons.

Black Pearl peppers are frequenlt referred to as "ornamental peppers". Ornamental peppers is the term given to pepper plants that are extremely attractive in the garden, but too hot for most people''s taste. Many have been bred recently for their appearance alone. Peppers are heat and sun lovers, so they can provide some color in the garden when other flowers are struggling.

These Peppers were a recent All-America Selections (AAS) Flower and Vegetable Award Winner.
