Catmint Seeds
Catmint, also known as
Nepeta mussini, Mussin's Catmint, Persian Catmint, Mauve Catmint, is native to Europe, Asia, and Africa, and is also common in North America.
Catmint is lower growing a less potent than its cousin,
Catnip.
Catmint contains the same chemical as
Catnip but in a weaker form. Cats will still enjoy of a close encounter with this plant. Attractive in a container or garden, with a soft haze of lavender blue flowers and fine blue-gray foliage, blooms from late Spring to late Autumn.
Catmint is an excellent blue-violet flowering border plant with aromatic gray-green foliage. The
Catmint plant gives off a pleasant mint scent.
Catmint works great in hanging baskets or in rock gardens.
Catmint is useful as a filler and edging plant.
Catmint seeds itself around modestly, without becoming a nuisance.
