French Breakfast Radish Seeds

The French Breakfast Radish is known for its vibrant color, unique shape and mild taste. French Breakfast Radishes originated in Southern France and were originally introduced in 1979.

This radish is also known as the "Flambo" Radish.

French Breakfast Radish roots are red and elongated with white tips topped with lovely, bright green leaves. They have a mild taste and are known to be tender and crisp. French Breakfast Radishes are fast growing and are often the first crop ready to harvest.

The colors of the French Breakfast Radish make it ideal for vegetable platters and in stir-fries, salads or soups. The greens may also me boiled and enjoyed. To store the Radishes, clip the greens and wrap the roots in plastic. Fresh Radish roots may be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Radishes are high in vitamin C and have been used as alternative treatments for whooping cough, cancer, gallbladder problems, constipation, kidney stones, gallstones, arthritis, and liver problems.
