German Chamomile (Whole Flowers) Sometimes referred to as "An herbal medicine cabinet must", the medicinal use of Chamomile dates back thousands of years to the ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks.
Chamomile has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including the; calming of frayed nerves (anxiety), treatment of digestive disorders, relief of muscle spasms, treatment of a range of skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns, diaper rash) and infections and the relief from chest colds, sore throats, gingivitis and insomnia.
Chamomile is also used cosmetically, primarily to make a rinse for blonde hair, and as a yellow dye for fabrics |
