Greigii Tulip Bulbs
Greigii Tulips among the shortest of all tulips. The blooms of the Greigii Tulips are very large in proportion to the rest of the plant, making them quite a unique flower to behold! Because they are short, Greigii Tulips are ideal for rock gardens and containers. The leaves of these unique tulips are usually patterned with stripes or spots, in purple or brown.
Greigii Tulips come in very bright colors, like red and yellow, and the flowers open wide in full sun, creating cup-shaped blooms that can be more than 5" (12 cm) in diameter when fully open.
The Greigii variety of tulips naturalize very well making them a fun and low maintenance addition to any garden.
Greigii Tulips were developed from the Tulipa greigii species. The Tulipa greigii species is native to Turkestan.
