Red Hungarian broomcorn
produces red edible seeds. The giant plumes of long, straight seedheads are widely used to make brooms or in ornamental crafting.
Sorghum seed
is a primary ingredient in bulk wild bird seed and the gluten free plant can also be useful for those following a gluten free diet.
