Italian Large Leaf Basil Seeds
Italian Large Leaf Basil is said to be an Italian cook’s favorite basil and is regarded as the essential variety of Basil for true Neapolitan cuisine, especially pesto.
This popular basil is full of flavor and sweeter and has a larger leaf than most basil. It is a good all "around basil" and it has very few pests.
The extra large leaves of this Basil can be used fresh or dried in tomato dishes, pasta sauces, vegetables and soups. Try adding basil to teas or vinegar.
As with all basils, you can also use this basil in the garden as a natural insecticide to repel aphids, mites, and tomato horn worms.
