Jalapeno plant will generally produce 25 to 35 pods. During a growing season each plant will be picked multiple times. Peppers are usually picked when they are still green and they will gradually ripen to red. The peppers can be eaten green or red.
The excellent flavor of these peppers makes them one of the best known and most widely used.
Jalapeno's are great on nachos, pizzas, fresh or pickled.
