Lady Lavender Seeds

The rare and hard to find Lady Lavender will bloom the first year from seed! Beautiful lilac flowers. The fragrant deep purple flowers make the Lady Lavender a quick favorite.

Due to its great xeric qualities, Lavender has gained great popularity in the 20th century as a landscaping plant. Lavender, along with herbs such as sage, rosemary and oregano, belongs to the mint family.

Lavender flowers have been extensively used in herbalism for their medicinal properties and for their yield of lavender oil, a highly effective essential oil with very sweet overtones. Lavender is also prized in beauty products for its light floral scent and it is commonly used it in cosmetics, perfumes, salves, soaps, shampoos, and sachets for scenting clothes.

Lavender has many other uses including: baking, aromatherapy, drying, cutting, insecticides, depression, anxiety, snake bites, and insomnia.
