Optima Butterhead Lettuce is a large, bright medium green colored lettuce. This lovely "Boston type" lettuce has large curved leaves that are perfect for salads. The buttery-smooth flavor and velvety texture of this lettuce will quickly make it a family favorite.

The Optima Butterhead is known to tolerate heat well and has excellent resistance to downy mildew, bottom rot and tip burn.
