Organic Hop Rhizomes

NOW taking reservations for 2014 hops! Hops orders ship in Spring (usually beginning mid/late March) and continue until we run out! For best selection order NOW!

We're sorry- we cannot ship hops to Hawaii or Washington state

Grow your own Organic Hops with our organically grown hop rhizomes for home brewing or micro brewing. Although hops are primarily grown and harvested for use in making beer, historically they have been used as a medicinal herb, a spring vegetable and in many crafts. They are a very attractive vine in the home garden and an easy plant for the novice gardener.

Our Hops Rhizomes are grown organically without the use of commercial fertilizers or pesticides. All of our Hops are grown in Oregon and are of the highest quality.

Hop Rhizomes can be dried and have many uses including brewing, medicinal and ornamental. The female hops produce the flowers used in brewing. All of our Hop Rhizomes are female.

As the flower of the rhizome matures, they form cone-like structures. The cones mature to 1-3 inches long, yellowish green and papery to touch. These cones are usually harvested in August and September, dried and used in brewing or for medicinal or ornamental uses.

Shipping

Shipping of Hops begins in early March. Orders will be shipped in the order they are received and shipping will continue as long as rhizomes stay dormant (usually sometime in April).

WHOLESALE HOP RHIZOMES

We offer a wholesale price of $5.95 each of 100 or more hop rhizomes of the following varieties....Cascade, Nugget, Willamette. Mt.Hood. Perle and Sterling. Varieties may be mixed in lots of 25.

Due to the quarantine on hops coming from outside the state of Washington we can't ship hops to Washington until the quarantine is lifted. We also do not ship hops to Hawaii or out of the U.S...sorry.
