Painted Lady Runner Bean Seeds
Painted Lady Runner Bean are a beautiful "edible ornamantal" and are very similar to
Scarlet Runner Beans. Painted Ladies have the same uses and qualities as the
Scarlet Runners except the flower is multicolored. The outer petals are scarlet red and the inner flower is white.
Runner Beans, are easy to grow and they can climb up to ten feet in one season! Runner Beans should be planted where they can grow up a fence, trellis, bamboo canes, or some other kind of support.
Painted Lady Runner Beans are easily grown from seed. In warm soil, seedlings can emerge in under a week. Sow seeds directly into the garden after the last frost in your area. Beans are highly susceptible to frost in both spring and fall. So, do not plant them too early.
