Giant Italian Parsley Seeds
Great Italian Parsley has a deep, rich, strong flavor. This Parsley is a large, flat-leaved, dark-green variety with an intense flavor prized by Italians. It is known to have a stronger flavor and is better for cooking than "regular", curly Parsley.
This hardy Parsley is also known as, "Prezzemolo Gigante D Italia" . In Italian, "Prezzemolo" means "to turn up everywhere". The deep flavor of Giant Italian Parsley will compliment almost any dish. Try adding it to your soups, sauces, salsa verde, salads, tobouli, grilled meat and potatoes. The Japanese use Parsley in their Tempura, the Belgians use it with Fondue and the English use it to make jelly.
Parsley is known to be effective as an alternative treatment for goiter, obesity, bed-wetting, fluid retention, indigestion, gas, menstrual disorders, worms, and bad breath. It is also beneficial to the function of the thyroid, lungs, stomach, bladder, liver, and kidneys.
Because of Parsley's resistance to a wide range pests and diseases, it requires no chemical treatment and is ideal for the organic gardener.
Great Italian Parsley is one of the only plants eaten by the caterpillars of the black swallowtail butterfly.
