I ordered a pack of these seeds this late spring, they were healthy and came to me undamaged. The seeds germinated ultra-fast and grew very vigorously. I live in central Croatia, which means a mild continental climate, however this summer was very draughty and hot (30-35°C most of August). The vines and the leaves looked fine, but due to the draught, I suppose, only a few of the (big and beautiful) flowers actually developed into pumpkins. Those that did grew quite large and bluish-grey, but there is a problem with this type of squash: it's rind is extremely thick and hard, there's a lot of that green, useless flesh beneath it, and it's really hard to cut up and prepare. That said, it tastes just fine. However, we've got some far better quality varieties of squash in Croatia, so I doubt I will sow these Queensland ones next year.
