Romanesco Cauliflower Seeds

A species unto itself: In the US and Canada, the Romanesco is called a cauliflower and, in Germany, it is a broccoli or cabbage.

Romanesco Cauliflower, also known as Roman Cauliflower is an edible flower originally documented in Italy in the 16th century. Romanesco is recently gaining popularity in US organic markets.

The Romanesco is an amazing chartreuse color and a "fractal" shape. It is as appealing to photograph as it is to eat.

Romanesco has a similar look and texture to cauliflower but tastes more like broccoli. Be careful to not over cook this vegetable as it will become mushy and unpleasant!
