Scarlet Sage

Scarlet Sage, also known as Salvia Coccinea, is native to Texas, and found throughout the southern portion of the United States.

Scarlet Sage is a very attractive, hardy herbal plant with abundant beautiful spikes of scarlet red flowers. A typical salvia when it comes to cultural conditions. It needs a hot dry situation with fast-draining soil. Easy from seed.
