Sweet Dakota Rose Watermelon Seeds

Sweet Dakota Rose Watermelon is an open-pollinated variety that was developed over 30 years ago by a North Dakota farmer named David Podoll. The Sweet Dakota Rose Watermelon has been called the "sweetest watermelon with the least amount of seeds".

This watermelon is a cross between Early Canada and Black Diamond, after many generations of selections, this bright-red fleshed melon adapts well to cooler, shorter seasons. 10-20 lb fruit.

Watermelons should be harvested later in the day rather than in the morning when the fruits tend to be bloated and more likely to crack.
